Sorry. But you did ask for "anything" to help locate them. Here's another I'm sure someone will have something better than I can offer.

Sounds like you need someone to make you a template. Are you using doors from another truck?
That would be nice. Yes, org. doors on my '76 Dodge pickup. I have some mirrors I bought at a swap. I'll be taking the mirrors off that are on the truck now. Just want to make sure I'm bolting them in the correct place. Also, what are the correct fasteners used on the LRE "sport" (?) mirrors? Thanks.

Thanks, those pics help a lot. Are they just sheet metal screwed on, or is their a nut on the inside of the door? I'm thinking of bolting a reinforcement plate inside the door panel, and using screws and nuts.
The holes are through holes, and the screws screw into a plate that is on the inside of the door. Getting pics right now. Will post in a couple

I thank you all very much, you are truly awesome. I feel bad having to ask this last question. The plates on the inside of the door. Do any of you have the specs on them (thickness, length, and width)? I will make them. Thanks, again!

The plate is about a half inch wider all around and thick enough to to tap for threads
Oh. I thought it was just a brace. But it is the threaded surface too. OK, makes sense. See, these are things I didn't know (on the exterior of the doors, sheesh! ).

There use to be a member that made the plates. I might have one removed from a truck. I'll check tomorrow and take pics with measurements
That would be great, Thanks.
