Still dealing with hauling it home, Yellow 77 short bed, 318 4 Speed.
Low miles, but was parked long time ago,Last Inspection sticker says 1992 original owner was killed in car crash, truck then given to his best friend,
Around 10 years ago he took truck apart at his mothers place, then moved half of it to his new place,
From what I have seen, it now has 3/4 ton axels, Good frame, motor trans t case all been stored inside, Bed is long gone with tailgate, Front walk away complete scrap, and cab will need floor pans, and one door is junk.
All in all its a real mess.
But I did get the roll bar, buddy seats, front push bar etc, still gathering it up..
Kind of a family feud I walked into buying it, BUT title now in my name..
Pics when its all here.

Well certain members of the family I bought the truck from, tried to block the cab and frame so I could not get to them, At least not get in with my trailer..
Boy were they surprised....
Geesh they must think that thing is worth what a Hemi Cuda is worth.. I mean just a few folks in this world would pay any more than scrap price for that stuff. Not me of course.. I would have been tickled to get that load.. Good score... ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

The 205 divorced cases are a nice piece - I had one in my '79 Macho PW behind a 360/NP435
Only problem is that the because the rear driveshaft is so short when the divorced T-case is installed in a shortbox; keeping U-joints alive is a bit tricky.
Had I not rolled the truck I likely would have run CV joints for the back too...
They came Stock in shortboxes and u-joints held up just the same as others
