What you have to keep in mind is that by comparisons either the Dr. Diff Tru Trac or The Detroit Locker units are supperior to an original 8.75's in strength, and you RARELY see a factory unit break unless it's being severly pounded at the track on a regular basis on slicks, and with big HP. It's not likely either one of the Diff Tru Trac or The Detroit Locker units is going to EVER fail you in a street strip application regardless of how you treat them.
