Thanks for posting all the good stuff

FWIW, My six pac dyno runs resulted in very similar jetting to yours, and the A/F trending (increasing w/ rpm) was also like yours.

Nice numbers Arnie

So does that Mr. SixPack cam have a mellow, stockish sleeper type idle?

I am very sorry I did not get any video after all, but it would put you to sleep it is so mellow...

idled down to 650rpm as smooth as you could dream of and sounded strangely quiet...

i will for sure post a video when it is in the car so you can see and hear it idle, but if you are looking for Lope, there ain't none...

It's amazing how a 440-6 can sound and idle
like a 318 and click of low 12 to high 11's..

Arnie, What lifters and valve springs did you use?

More Details and pictures in the build thread linked on the first post of this thread...

I used Beehive comp springs with tool steel retainers, and Johnson HyLift short travel lifters with about .010" preload.

Have not gone to the track yet... But going to get there in August for sure!

I have been driving the car quite a bit this summer, and other than the lifter noise due to the faster ramps on the Mr. 6 pack cam and the fast rate lifters, it idles smooth and just purrs...

The Rev-n-nator did not make any more HP whatsoever on the dyno than either the MSD 7al dyno box, or my old Chrome box... no gain, no loss.

I will post a number once I run it.

I mounted some 255/60R15 ET Street radials on my factory 7" rims and they fit/look great!

Cheers,

Arnie

Cudabin, Is the Mr. Six Pack cam a race only piece? Can it be run on the street? Thanks!

It is a great street cam designed for max performance of a 440 - 6 pk running factory manifolds and a full exhaust. It meets pure stock certification with more or less stock lift and duration numbers, but faster ramps...

I am happy with it!

That is what I run occasionally. I like the look. Looks well balanced on most B bodies IMO. Can't wait to hear the results

I've been intrigued by the Mr Sixpack cam and wonder how it would work with a point less compression, ported heads and a Performer intake with a T-Quad

Hope it's more quiet than a solid lifter.

Can't wait for some video
