It was no big deal to see that races were locked up, for $10K, and up. This show on tv is comical to me.  It has been years and years since I have been to a street race, but, I never saw high powered lighting, all the way down the "street". Lets face it, we all like cars and racing, so, just sit back, and enjoy the show, but, don't play too much into it, as it certainly is not a reflection of a real street race. Nothing like being in Compton at a Winchell's Doughnut Shop on a Saturday night, and have to dive because of a drive by shooting....

Guys it's better then watching the same pass time's episodes for the 300th time.Is it real street racing? No.It's a g rated version on some of the stuff that really happens before a street race.I see what there trying to show folks and some of its silly,but there's no denying some of them cars are fast and actually did street race before the tv deal was sighned.Enjoy it or don't  i would run my car if we had a place like that w 20 light towers and permits to film.;p;

If you go to 1320video.com their Cash Days DVDs have most of those cars on them. Actually in one of those DVDs the brown sugar Cuda was out there racing before it got wrecked at Atco.

Funny thing is I've seen him run in the 12 second bracket race and run the number good. You never know what kind of hit he will run on it, it has a fogger with multiple stages.  but remember it is street racing and a tv show it makes for an interesting subject.
