Installing a PCV system will definitely help with the moisture problem. I would run one on the street for sure.

Well here is a pic of the condensation on the inside of the valve cover and the "K/B Stack. What PCV valve would be a good choice? As in what application would I buy one for? I ran the car at the track for TNT, and hot lapped it. Got too hot on the last pass. I sure didn't expect to see this mess inside! Mark

Looks like 'leak down' and 'pressure test' of cooling system time to me. That's alot of moisture. You are running gas right..??..not alky.

Looks like a lot of moisture to me. Isn't that a KB block? Did you get the head gaskets from KB?

OK, I couldn't remember. Have you drained/checked the oil to see how much water, if any, is in the pan? No bubbles in the radiator? I hope it's just condensation, it could be, but it sure looks like a lot to me. If it isn't putting water in the pan, I'd go drive the snot out of it and then look again.

Chip The last time I drained the pan, the oil was milky, but no water sepperated to the bottom. I am going to drain it again and see what I have now. Mark

I have changed oil 3 times in less than 20 miles and three 1/8th mile test passes. I am concerned that if it is antifreeze, my bearings will be toast. I cannot confirm it, but I think the rad. level may be down some. No oil in radiator. Radiator Pressure tester drops from 18 psi to 15 psi in about 1/2 hr. Oil is cloudy and brown. What should I test next? Is there a "test strip" for the oil to test for antifreeze? Thanks, Mark

Thanks for the info on the test kit. It seems to me if it was just water in the oil pan, it would have sepparated and the water would be on the bottom of the pan. Not so. I have used a leak down to check ring seal, but not to find a coolant leak? Is this just for head gasket to cylinder leakage?

Well, It is antifreeze for sure. Now to look at the bearings and see what damage is done, and try to find the leak Thanks, MARK
