That's the plan Jay! I had to let the Swinger go to get this one... So, I plan on driving the tires off of the X. Not to sure about the Nats this year, I may take a year off (22 year straight is a lonnng time!).

As I look through my database, it might interest you to know Leon's old GY9 car (also a window louver LA car) is only about 20 #s away from your VIN.

That's pretty cool to know Eric. Was the SPD on that one 911 also? I'll have to dig that issue of MCG out of the attic.

RM23N1E105365 (911 - SPD) was also louver'd (spoiler'd & EV2 Road Runner) - was at Fall Fling 2011 - Steve got pics? I'm looking.

Here's RS23U1E105368 (911/J68) - isn't that the incorrect rear spoiler for a September '70 car? Is this "LEON's" car? The reproduction window sticker shows: Prince Chrysler-Plymouth Inglewood, CA.

Yes. That is Leon's old GTX.

Don't have access to that harddrive for a couple days. Did it have louvers at Fall Fling?

I know the VIN on Leon's old car, but I've never seen the fender tag...not sure what the SPD is. The GY9 car Dan posted is Leon's. As I recall, the wing and front spoilers were not coded for the car.

For some reason I didn't take a lot of pictures that show.

But, do you think it's the orange 71 behind this blue 68 RR at the 11:41 of this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2DHl9Qdf8I

Closest thing I can find so far.

Looks like the same car at 11:10 from the other side. No louvers, but probably the same EV2/V4X Road Runner I have tag info from?

Dan- so, with three 911 SPD '71 Plymouths with the J68 option built (that we know of), do you think it was intentional to do a "batch build"? Right there, 2 of the 30 GTXs optioned with louvers were scheduled to be built, pretty neat.

These original louvers were on a '71 318 Charger that a buddy bought for parts a year ago. How close are the Dodge louvers to the Plymouths? This same parts car also had a '71 spoiler on the trunklid. Our guess is that the original owners found a RT or Super Bee parts car back in the '70's and mounted them on this car (one family owned car since new, not coded on any piece of documentation).
