I would use a 5.7 block, add a K1 Stroker kit, clean up the heads, reuse a truck intake and add a small 220/220 ish cam. Huge torque and driveability for a little bit more than the block alone.

If you want to do it, buy the alum block. We all understand lol.

Yea the aluminum block is probably which way I want to go. So the search and reading will begin.

BTW it's definitely not for the Dart. Someone else will be playing with it soon enough.

The big question is finding a good gen111 builder

Whats the Goal....????

Get ahold of Mike and the Muscle Motors Boys. They're doing alot of cool things with the Gen 3's over there.

Maybe Scotty G wouldn't mind building you one, he would probably enjoy working on something different. Who knows, he may even talk you into letting him put a 3 stage system on it.

No major goals. I was going with a ripp but the cost is't worth it when I can do a Hemi for just a bit more

Goals like, how much power do you want this engine to make? If you want big power, are you prepared to replace the rest of the drive train? The modification of a Jeep never ends. JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket.

All ready in the works swaping out the axles to high pinion 60s and the trans along with the transfer case will be upgraded at the same time. I am already running aftermarket suspension which will be upgraded to a long arm and possible coil overs.

Then it sounds like you're ready to go all they way on that thing! I hope you start a build thread! Where are you getting the HP60's from? Currie, or? Are you looking at replacing your stock transfer case with a Atlas?

Looking at all my options on the 60s and yes on the atlas. My biggest thing is the Hemi and finding info on it.

I just bought one. I thought this might help, if you have not seen their site.

Forget the Atlas transfercase, go with STAK. You might want to consider Spidertrax Spider 9 fabricated 9" housings. Then you can weld brackets anywhere you want with ease.

What's better with the STAK over the Atlas?

The STAK is based off of the NP205 and the Atlas is based off the Dana 300. Size and strength. Both are made with same materials.
