Went searching for a post that would help me in removing the radio's push buttons. After not much luck, I did some Google searching and found this:

http://www.antiqueradios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=121844

Tried the method described by MAG in the second-to-last post, and it worked like a charm. I took a couple of photos to illustrate the set-up. I used an "Allen-wrench" (instead of a drill bit) the size of the holes behind the buttons; used two jewelers screwdrivers on either side of the station preset shaft/arm; Gently pulled the screw drivers toward the front of the radio while wiggling the button up and down and "presto", the buttons came off. Hope this helps others if you're looking to service/replace the buttons. FYI - this is a 1970-71 E-Body AM radio. I don't know if this procedure applies to later model units, or other Mopar bodies. BTW - Does anyone know if a regular chroming shop can re-chrome plastic? Thanks.

Ahh, that's something I do almost everyday .I use a small jewlers flatblade screwdriver to bend the tab up, and a long nut driver to carefully pry off the buttons , using the case as leverage.
It takes about 15 seconds to remove all 5 .
You are aware those push buttons are available in reproduction for about $ 70 set ? I am not 100 % thrilled with them , but they work.

Yes, I have seen the repop chrome buttons, but not at $70.00. Everywhere I've seen them for sale, the price range is $83.00 to $90.00. Where can I get them for $70.00?

I bought them in bulk along with some other parts so I got a price break when we ordered them. I would be glad to sell you a set for $70 and ship them for free as long as you are in the U.S.
