I never ran vac advance before . And was told my the company that te box will perform better with no vacuum advance. And yes my street car picked up .3 tenths with this box alone. Pulled harder at high rpm. Noone here needs to get thier panties in a bunch

BB65-Where is the ground strap going from the box to the engine? Ground straps are really important for proper voltage and current flow.....

As far as vacuum advance and the so called digital interference I have to laugh at that. The maker of this products needs to stop insulting what is left of our intelligence. First it was this huge hp gain [that does not exist], now it's a mechanical device that interferes with a digital ignition box. Show me on an oscilloscope the proof!
Do you know what what one is???? They used to use them on cars...

Actually Tom I do have a ground strap on the hemi, both from the battery and the firewall to the motor.

And who said anything about digital interference?
I think that someone said it interfered with the digital circuitry,
Im under the impression they meant possibly erratic changes in the timing curve from the Vac advance could interfere with the way the ignition works..

Why are you such a condescending dick?

It was Troy himself that told me that the "digital circuitry" gets disturbed when vacuum advance is used. I don't understand the mechanics of it enough to take a side. I just didn't like the idea of having to retard the timing to get it to stop detonating. I already have a 14 degree spread in the centrifugal advance and I can't tighten it anymore without additional mods. Sure, if I were trying to squeeze another 2 tenths, it may be worth the effort. For a car that is used for spirited street driving 99.4% of the time, I'm not sure it is worth it. Maybe I will return mine after all.

All im saying is this ignition ( with the little time I have had to play with It!)Seems to work excellent.
Im not really sure why retarding the timing would be an issue if the car runs better with it that way.
You certainly are not hurting anything. I only asked about the vac advance because I wanted to know if I sent The RT Garage $210 was I buying nothing more than a stock ignition with pretty lights on it.
The answer to that is no!
I put it on the car and the car runs much better!
Simple!
If I already did not have the 6AL on the Dart I would put one in that too.

Thats all great news. Congrats. Our plug and play electronic ig. distributors, coils, with Troy's Rev,n,nators are proving to be extremely popular. Congrats.
