I just saw that AMD is having a sale on 71-74 B body parts, so I thought now might be a good time to pick up some items I will be needing in the future. Has anyone used any of the AMD parts for 71-72 Chargers, and were there any major fitment issues? I realize that anything I buy will probably need some work, but just wanting to know if there is anything that should be avoided because the specs are too far off.
Does anybody have comments on the fit, I'd like to know as well.

Glad it worked out so well for many of you. I ended up saving $1300+ myself.
Guess I'll find out how well the stuff fits when I get that far on the car. I always see a lot of feedback about how E-body stuff fits, but very little on 71+ B-bodies.

At Moparts, the concensus is there is no consensus.

i can say the front radiator support parts are not close to original looking..
Hey guy - Mike from Auto Metal Direct here. The 71-72 B-Body radiator support is one of our better selling items. We sell and install a lot of these and we've gotten a lot of positive feedback.
What issue(s) are you having with the part?
Thanks for your time.

one easy to understand word... APPEARANCE it does not look close to original.. and that might not matter to masses, but it does to me! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif)

I appreciate the response.
From the factory, Mopar had 2-3 different variances of this part. There are small differences in the top section which do not affect fit of function. Depending on the year of your vehicle, the top section may look slightly different.
We tooled our part directly off a OE Mopar radiator support. We've sold hundreds with no fitment issues or complaints. If your radiator support does not look like ours, you have one of the 2-3 different variances offered from the factory. Your only option for an identical replacement would be to find a NOS part.
Thanks again for taking the time to get back with me.
