I guess a $600 chrome job on a $135 bumper makes sense to some.

I guess it all depends on how nice you want your light weight bumper/car to look.

If your buying strictly by price point than yes it makes no sense. Some of us want fast and nice so we save up a little longer to get to that point without making excuses that rattle can silver looks nice.

Ive looked into hydro dipping and cant find chrome as an option there either.
