back half is complete with the exception of bleeding the brakes, finishing the tin work, reinstalling the interior,,,then it's re-set the valves, fresh tranny fluid and engine oil/filter and go thru the carb in preperation for fire-up,,then give it a bath and polish, load it up and take it to John Holts shop for a chassis dial in,,,,,then it time to go beat on it. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/boogie.gif)
Light travels faster than the speed of sound,,,this is why some people seem bright untill you hear them speak.

Sounds like you will be ready,Dave!! We haven't touched mine. I don't think we will run much this year. Priced VP 110 at 7.75 a gallon then add the entry fees of 90.00 for a day...
Ted; At $7.75 a gallon for race gas I'd seriously consider switching to E-85.Dave ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Twocents.gif)

Still working on the Rampage... doing the body work.. its about 80% done... as soon as the temps get up I'll spray it... other than that I just need to put the carpet in and bolt the seats back in... this pic is just before I started the body work...right now I have the front metal off for prep... come on warm weather ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

That was a cool build to follow,Mike! What color you gonna paint it?
I have 2 choices... I have a few gals of Flame Red or Chryslers version of Candy Apple Maroon ... I think its gonna be the Flame Red but I'm gonna put micro metallic in it then shoot ghost flames with just metallic then clear... I have to do some test panels to see what I like and if the metallic works right with the red... the maroon color is a 3 step process and I dont know if I have all of the material to do it.. no big deal, I can buy the second coat material ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

E-85 here is 3.05 a gallon. I live close enough to the pump where I could take my hand cart and 30 gallon barrel for a short walk...
Plus we tested with E85 at the dyno, you should see a pickup of about 3% more hp/tq.
Thats a good price for E85. I paid $3.94 for 93 pump the other day here in Md. It runs fine on 92 also but not all stations have 92 as it seems the ones without 92 have 93. But I like the fact that since my car is a street car I want to be able to pull in any gas station and get gas. Ron
