I'm trying to find the person that makes and sells the bucket seat bracket reinvorcements plates for thr floor pan to make this trade possable. A little help, anyone? Some one know who this is, or where I can get/or make them? PM me, or duster@surewest.netThanks

I made mine from 2"x3" plate. Don't know what the actual, factory dimensions were.
Here's AMD's image:

Help me to understand here. These 4 piece sets go on the inboard seat studs, one plate on top and one on bottom?
If you don't use them when you switch to buckets what happens? Does the floor tear? Really? Am I missing something?
Plates go on top of floor only, inboard holes only, and are tack welded in. Yes the floor will eventually fatigue crack and the bolts/nuts will pull through the floor.
I made mine from some scrap plate.

Maybe some big washers on the bottom side...?

Ok where are the experts ? Or people with original plates. Do they mount on top or bottom ?
Every bucket seat mopar I have owned had them on the top. Its stronger when mounted on the top.

I'd pull the carpet, cut the mat and add them on the top Kevin. A washer on the underside is better than nothing, but not by much.
I have a few extras cut if you want them. Oversized but they fit a stock A body.(the plate pic was of a 72 Demon) You'll have to drill the holes yourself

Randy is that a formed plate? Is it just spotwelded? Is there anything on the top side? Never noticed that on an E never owned one though...thats probably why Every A, B and F body I've had that was a factory bucket car had them on the top.

Yup, welded to the ribs on the bottom of the car, the cupped area goes up & sandwiches with the high area of the floor.. I don't believe there is anything on the inside.. It's been years & I could be wrong but I don't think so.... I need to clean the bottom of the car, hasn't been done in a few years.... I use to stay on that stuff, now I just drive it...

I am ashamed.... Not!! I don't honestly know if the cupped area is welded, it's bolted tight by the seat studs so I don't see it mattering much...
