Just wondering if anyone here has a super gas style Roadster? I don't have any experience with them, but they look like the best of both worlds. The ease and visibility of a Dragster, and they still have personality. Just looking to see if anyone has one, and how they like it. I know most are corvettes or 23 Fords, but you can get a viper body ad well as a '33 Dodge from Suncoast.

I built a 23 for my brother... he loved it(still does) but its a SB chevy... he hasnt raced it in the last couple of years(money)... I built it based on the body he wanted so it was a center seat

But P-guy ... you can't race a center seat/steering car in S/G or S/ST. To the OP .... my intent on your thoughts EGGzackLEE(I have had a wanted-ad here before and now and have also bid on eBay on a couple) .... PLUS to add to your thoughts .... it is super-lite - so a good base motor is all you need to get the car into the faster-class.... .....and real EZ to work on

they were using us to fill the field... so they let
it go... he got money one of the two times

Have a good friend right around the corner we race with that has one for sale. It is a 23' but set up to look like a plymouth. Set up for BB Mopar. It comes with a glide and everything but motor.Legal S/G car, proven winner...Price is right!  poppaj

I've been racing a roadster for a couple of years now. I really enjoy the little car. It came with a BB Chevy and I converted it over to BB Mopar last year. Its a very different experience being out in the wind. It doesnt take much motor to go fast and the car is very easy to work on. When looking for a left steer roadster make sure the car has a recent cert as the SFI rules have changed alot. We had to have several bars changed / added to recert when I bought the car. Over the winter the car has gotten a full makeover - new engine, trans, fresh paint and wheels.  new paint  Papa J - who's car are you referring to - do you have a racingjunk link?

Wafflebatter (Doug) on here and the guy I do most of my travel racing with has an Aero 23T with a SBC..He has been 5.40's in the 1/8th with it and has done some serious damage with it. He did quite a bit of work on it after he bought it but he loves it. Ill let him know of this thread.
5.53 @ 125 1/8th on the launch control..more left in her!
