I have followed threads on Hemi rockers on here for some time now. There are a lot of guys that have said here that they have run the stock rockers for years with good success. And certainly, there are good reviews for T&D, DLI, Stage V and the like.
But there seems to be a lot of bad experiences for other brands of Hemi rockers. It almost seems that it is either best to run stockers, within reason, or go to the top ranks of rockers.
How do the newer MP stock replacements stack up? Are they up to the standards that their OE counterparts?
Master, again and still

stock narrow or wide will do the trick with a cam lift under .750 at one time 9500 rpm was the norm for them

So on a build where the stock rockers would be OK, how does a guy check the ratio ?
You have to mock it up with light checker springs. Install the cam and one intake and exhaust lifter, checker springs on said cylinder. Set the it at zero lash and using a dial indicator record maximum lifts go back to your cam card or using a dial indicator measure total lobe lift at the cam. Divide the maximum valve lift by the maximum lobe lift the product is your rocker ratio. You'll have to do this for each rocker arm. Dave

Cab you are so right. It can turn a normal guy into a tear streaked raving lunatic. Other than living with it the only options using stock rockers are to send them out for correction,(they can make them better but not perfect) or find a way to dig through and check dozens of individual rockers. Mine were redone and I bought another complete set from a member here. I checked them all and used the best of them to make a set. Here are the ratios I ended up with; on the intake 1.69, 1.63, 1.66, 1.66,1.67,1.66,1.65,1.63 the exhausts, 1.53,1.52,1.51,1.49,1.51,1.52,1.53,1.50 The net differences in lift on mine are only .026 on the intake and .017 on the exhaust, I can live with that. It still bothers me but it's much better than most.Dave
