the flare does the sealing but I clean the aluminum threads with brake clean then a light dab of 30 wt eng oil because the alum threads are delicate.




I use a light dab anti-seize compound on the threads.


Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.
