Looks good Steff

what are you using that big fitting where I think the oil cooler lines plumb to?

That's where my Peterson R4 Belt Driven Oil Pump is going to feed the oil into the motor.

Do up have a picture of the G4 and G3 cam side by side so we can get a visual on the differences? Or at least a pick of the G4 cam so I can compare it to my 6.1 cam I have here?

A bushing/spacer might work if you finished the inner diameter of the bushing/spacer and left the OD .020" or so big, press it on to the cam, dowel it in place with a couple of dowels so it doesnt move, then chuck it in a lathe with a steady rest on the next closest cam journal and then finish machine the bushing/spacer OD, that would make your bushing/spacer concentric with the others, might work

Got the Oil Pan & Windage Tray on. I built this Oil Pan to replace the Milodon Oil Pan I threw away by mistake. Yes, I'm an idiot!! This Oil Pan was a learning experience, as I wanted to learn how to Tig Weld Aluminum. So, I fabbed this up. It isn't pretty, but it doesn't leak!!

Thanx Jerry! Once I get the motor plate finished, I'm going to look at making some kind of debris cover to protect the belt drive, as this is a street motor.

On a side note, I need some rocker tie bar hold downs and collars. Just get ahold of Sharadon?

Yes, the Pan Rail is what I kept from a factory SRT8 Cast Aluminum Oil Pan I had laying around. The rest is .090" thick 3003 aluminum sheet.

Yup, just get ahold of Sharadon. Make sure you tell them your using Eagle heads since they take the longer tie bar and are anodized red for itentifcation. Also a side note....Best if you mock them up on the bench first. I have noticed some clearence issues between the provided rocker arm shim's and rockershaft stantion's. Mainly on the exhaust side and mainly on the Eagle head. Only had one issue on a 5.7, no issues on the 6.1's or the Apache heads so you may have to take a die grinder or file (I use a file) and remove a little material from the side of the stantion so the shim can rotate freely. Also once the collars are in place you can make sure the rocker arm has free rotation and the collar doesn't bind up against the sparkplug tower. If you find one that binds all you need to do is loosen the collar and rotate it till it clears.

At what point do you need tie bars?

7000 plus rpm. Basically what my tie bar does is marry the exhaust rockershaft to the intake rockershaft. At high rpm when using OEM equipment, I've seen the factory exhaust rockershaft stantion's fail/crack or break from the bad exhaust pushrod angle in the G3 Hemi. From being a backyard garage shop G3 Hemi engine builder, I'm glad some folk's like the rocker tie's that I engineered and designed....like Keith Lynch, Barton, Teuton, Lofgren.

You can excusse my ignorance here but where does the oil go once it hits the cam. The VCT is contoled by oil pressure right?
I'm trying to figure out how the VCT works.

Steff, your reward is coming. Keep it up. Are you still using our Firecore Stage2 Hemi Coils? Keeping them in the stock position? Just wondering. The coils are really catching on , now. Thank you. Our Stage3 Extreme Coils are slowly coming tomgether. Thanks for trusting us. You and Muscle Motors were the first. Thanks. See you soon.

Hey Rick!! Absolutely, I'm still using your Coils!! I was considering getting new valve covers that require relocated coils and your wires, but am not sure yet. I'm a Firecore Guy, don't forget it!!
