The place to go here was Kerrs Speed Shop.used to cost 30 bucks for a competition valve job.Old Pappy Kerr was still around a few years ago for sure.He was still building stuff for some people.Bought my first aluminum intake there.Cost 29 bucks for my BB.Headers were real pricey at over 100 a set.Rocky

Now i'm jonzen for a footprint gas pedal
I was at an estate sale last week for a Mopar drag racer who passed and bought among many items a footprint gas pedal that had been sitting around for ever but was in excellent shape, I sent it to my little brother as surprise gift, he loves it.

I buy 90% of my stuff from our local speed shop, Qwik Time Performance, Roanoke, Va. They sponsor our local heads up and index racing so I feel it's only right to support them. They price match or beat mail order on most items.

The two I worked at closed, watash speed and auto parts world. BP speed, shaws speed, a to z speed all closed now too. Same to see them go but we have two shops left that sell speed parts but really don't stock anything. Can get it next day but no good place to ogle parts!

It's sad that our local sped shops are gone, they were a good place for a Mopar guy to . In reality if you went into the speed shops that were around here asking for Mopar parts they looked at you like you had three eyes.
That would be my experience as well.... especially nowadays. If you don't have a Moostang or a Camaro - they don't have any parts in stock. The worst part is that the employees act like it's a huge inconvenience to order parts for you as well. I TRY to use the local guys - but they don't make it easy. And when I tell them the parts are for a truck - they try and send me to the 4X4 place down the street. I'm guessing the employees have no commission incentives?
Mustang, camaro, or apparently a Holley carb either! Went to a local Napa and Carquest to buy a powervalve, they were gonna have to order it
