When someone is asking about tag fonts then 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% they are looking for info pertaining to having a tag made. You have enough threads posted that it's pretty easy to see where your questions are headed.
The lucky part for you is you what appears to be the original window sticker to back up whatever is on the repop tag , knowing what to put on and not what to put on I am going to assume is your next round of questions .

I don't have any interest in helping you, or anyone else, make a tag, or help those making FAKE tags do their craft better.
The good part is I'm sure that Barry Washington has seen this thread and will somewhere in his records make note that your car has a repop tag should someones memory fail them in the future...

I talked with barry in 09 and he knew it then ! i actually disclosed that information publicly, long ago and on this very web site...it seems to me that you would be upset with those who stole my car and made a fake fender tag ,not with those trying to correct the known fraud . why shoot the fireman when he comes to put out the fire?

Some Tags do not have the correct info on them from the factory, does that make those Tags FAKE?
By your own admission you're 'new' to mopars so just where did you pull that BS from? The cars are built to the tag and sheet, not the other way around.
EK3 is an odd example since he has the buildsheet, window sticker AND a picture of THE ORIGINAL tag. So a 'correct' copy may be possible. ASSuming the font, size and spacing can be duplicated of course.
If you bought a car without a tag, or somehow lost it, tough, suck it up and mark it down as a lesson learned. Just make sure the next mopar you spend money on has a bit better documentation.
A fake tag, window sticker or sheet is the kiss of death to anyone that knows these cars and only useful when trying to sell a car to someone that DOESN'T know much about them.
I can't afford this.

So are you saying that every tag has the exact info and is perfect on every car and has no info that is wrong or not correct?? We all know that that these tags have wrong info on them or deleted info. We all have seen build sheets with more options listed than the fender tag. I have seen examples all over the internet. Maybe you should read my post again and get your facts straight. I will state the facts for you again. We all know there is FAKE cars out there with good docs.Doesn't make the car any less FAKE to me but hey its got a correct fender tag but the whole car is FAKE. We all know that fender tags right from the factory have wrong info on them. And as far as my car goes I have never and never will try to pass my fender tag off as the original. As I said if you are FAKING a car then shame on you but if you want a tag on the fender that was lost or stolen then I see no problem with having one made. Too much being put on a document{ FENDER TAG} that is not reliable with incorrect information or wrong information or deleted information or left out information and they are also inconsistent from factory to factory. So why give a document that much clout with that many flaws. Please!!! Talk about BS!!!! Larry J OUT!!!
seems like you have all the inside info ...

this logic cracks me up a valid reason doesn't make a fake tag any less fake! if a stupid missing piece of tin bothers you so much put a blank one on the car! that is the most "correct" way

Actually, using your logic one would not be permitted to replace any part of the car that was removed, damaged/rusted etc because. Or if one were to replace that part with one of the correct size and type it would be deemed 'fake'. Alternatively, if one really wanted the part replaced - one must replace it with something that does not appear original.
A bit of a stretch for even the most anal of car hobbyists.
A better approach: Fake tag: one made with the intent to deceive or lack of approriate care to ensure its accuracy - no disclosure made
Reproduction tag: one made to replace a damaged or missing original, using the best available knowledge to do so (original tag, rubbing, photograph, BCS etc) - full disclosure made

The full disclosure part is the problem, someone trying to make one that is undectable , like the guy on ebag selling SEASONED broadcast sheets, does so for one reason and one reason only , to deceive. It's a good thing that a repop (FAKE )tag can be spotted fairly easily by someone that knows what they look like.
I don't follow every thread everyone makes and if the OP had put a link to his story on this car in the original post I may not have gone in the direction that I did , and guided this thread , to begin with. I think it's great that the car was recovered , it's too bad the original tag is gone , he should just have one made and be done with it , he has enough original documentation to back up the REPOP tag.
Isn't it great that the d'bags only in it for the money have destroyed the integrity of every single car that is out there ?
