Record can't be a 9.28. Was at a minimum which is .50 under the index so the record would have to be quicker than a 8.80. At 160 must have been quick.

Certainly a misprint. Congrats to the Barton guys. Had to be better than a 22 with a FE head.

Congratulations to Gary Wolkwitz, who set the new SS/AH record at a 8.285 @ 160.50. All I can say is that I know the Barton crew has been working very hard at this to get Gary a record and to have the Barton crew back into the record book! Also congratulations to David Barton for setting the CC/SA record at a 9.45 @ 136.57. Congratulations again to Gray Wolkwitz and the entire Barton Crew!

To give credit where it's due;Tue Apr 09 2013 07:27 PM you posted a pic of David, Buddy and Lee's Camero. I choked on my doughnut. This car was actually going back as a gray/black primer throwback and was painted as so. Here is my pic of it heading to another paint job! Thanks to Michael Barton for the design.

PS As for your deleted post, thanks for getting the word out. I was happy to help my TALL friend.
