I was going to build that car for N/PS racing but don't have the time.I may sale it if anyone is interested.I have a new glass front clip for it.
How much?
Look at it and make offer.
To anyone interested in looking at the car,I saw it at BGR a few years ago and it suprised me how nice it was then. I was thinking about putting my small block stroker in it. But then I thought it probably would be better to sell my stuff and put a Hemi in it to make things right. Its really a cool car. I think about that car all the time. If I ever get over my health issues I think N/PS would be a cool thing to get involved in.

If that's the case I'd love to at least see a pic of the 'ol gal. Btw, just how correct WAS my memories?
The car I have is an early Pro/Stock style build and was aquired from Neil Lewis quite a few years ago.It was purchased by him in northern Ohio and was raced in Ohio,New York and Pa in the 70s.When I got the car Neil had the paint stripped and it was primered. The paint was white and black with the "Thundering Hemi"monicker. There were plexiglass windows with 1286#s in the car and Neil said he was told that Phil Roaring had may have driven this car also.I have never been able to document this car.It does have the hoop style roll cage,4link and R&P steering. I'am will try and contact Neil to see if he can provide any additional information.
I spoke to Phil Roar on the subject of him driving a Duster , and this is what he said: The car he drove was owned by Zeeker Frame Shop in northern Ohio. It was built to be a Pro Stock car but they ran it in B/MP. A guy named Junior Holbrook built the motor and Phil put only 3 passes on the car with the best of 8.82. Phil said the car was a solid black car and that was the only time he drove the car. Zeeker moved his frame shop to Georgia and Phil does not know what happened to the car. The car was a Hemi with a T-F tranny.

When I started working on this Duster, I was told it was an old ProStock, but I doubted it. The Pro on the window did not convince me.
However, the old S&W roll cage sticker does give a little credence to a possible ProStock history. Has aftermarket front sub frame with coil-over suspension w/rack, a 426 Hemi, and a Dana.
Anything is possible I guess. The seat belts were dated 1988, so it hasn't seen much action recently, and only 4 passes this year after I got it updated enough to pass tech.

I think Harwood still has 'em???
I looked at Harwood, they are similiar, but not exactly, unless my eyesite is a little bit off or the paint job is messing with my head. Or, I just couldn't find the right one.
ALmost looks like someone added plates and angled them the sides and front.

I really dig the Keystones.
I never stopped digging them. Mopars, especially Plymouths, look especially "bad", "cool", "tough" or "boss" with 'em.
Here's Kahl Customs' cousin, an equally cool-looking Duster called Prescription Hemi. It's a Pro Stocker though, but really not that much more different than a B/MP car (back then). The car was from Connecticut from what I remember...forget the driver's name.
His name was Dennis Kurtsavage. He passed away several years ago.

It just doesn't get much better than this one. I wonder if it still lives. Beautiful car!
That's Billy Lyons "Queen Bee" pro stock Duster from Cleveland OH. Pretty sure he doesn't still have it but he still has it's successor
