The tag should always remain with the car! Add a little JB Weld to the bottoms of the screws once placed before/during/after paint. There are just as many "stories" about tags being lost by their rightful owners, because they put them in a "safe" place. Titles can be replaced, "ORIGINAL" tags - not so simple an issue.

Call the bodyshop RIGHT NOW. Tell them that you are coming to get the tag and to bring the inner fender inside immediately. I hope it's still there. With the luck I seem to have, the scrap pile would be hauled away right before I got there.

I thought about putting black stripes on my roadrunner but decided to go strictly by the tag. I am glad I did. You will be too.

You have a rare and unique setup there. Don't turn it into something else. If you want to do that, go find a solid 69 Satellite body and turn it into what you desire.

I'll echo the others comments; paint it Q5. I hate color changes anyway, but at least I can see it when someones changing from something considered undesireable....Q5 is very nice.

As far as the tag goes; do what Dan said, put it on the car with the proper screws and JB weld the back of the screw threads. Take some high quality pics of the tag and store them in a safe place along with a pencil rubbing of the tag.

Basically a one of one color combo. Awesome car! Most platinum interiors had either white, black or silver exteriors. Seafoam Green is a cool color!
