Definitely Cope Racing Trans. I had constant trans failure in in my 5000lb 11 second C-Body. Went through a plethora of transmissions and trans parts.

Finally had a 727 shipped up from Cope, NOT ONE PROBLEM SINCE...and my car hooks like a mofo

I've used them both. You can't go wrong with either for a rebuild. When I'm really getting into the weeds on an issues or details, I go to Rick.

If you want to do it yourself, ATI has a race trans rebuild kit with kevlar band. They usually have a 10% off sale around this time of year.

I have spoken with John on the phone and he is a very nice guy. He even talked me out of a part that I wanted but I did not need.
I just met Rick Allison last week for the first time and he too is super nice. Rick even took the time to take me through his shop and he spent allot of time just talking about parts, materials, and showed me evertything in his shop that he manufactures from scratch. I picked Rick because he is local to me but I am not sure you could go wrong with either one. Rick makes allot of parts himself and some of those parts go to John to sell too. It just makes sense to me to buy from the guy who makes the parts instead of a vendor, if you had the choice.

Rick Allison manufactures so many of these parts I usually give him my business. He is a great guy and will take time on the phone to answer questions. Having said that, I have also done business with John Cope who is also very helpful and sells a quality product. We are lucky in the Mopar community to have two such men available for transmission services.

. I've never dealt with Rick. John has always been good to me. I go with CRT based on that alone.

Nothing against A&A or Cope, buy you should also consider Dave Smith with ProTrans in California. http://www.protransracing.com/index.html

All three guys have nothing but respect for each other, and they all know their stuff. I would call all three and find out what is best for you for the price. I think you will find the price will be very comparable between them all. Can't really go wrong with any of them.

I'll tell u......i'v never built a tranny before until i got screwed on a deal by a local so i started doing my own with the help of Rick at A&A and he gave suggestion on my first basic build and from then on all my tranny parts were from A&A(drums, sprag, etc.)That last tranny has been in the car since 06 and has been 1.28's@3350 lbs so i'm very happy with the sells/service
