.....ya....I fixed the wrap on the 200.00 Hauler the week of SEMA....we did it on the top floor of the Flamingos parking garage.....always good times with Chad.

Well I think we finally have a handle on an issue we have been fighting since mid summer and are now headed in the right direction. Of course the season is over so that is of little consequence now. Finally got a couple of good clean hits on the car today, the .48 and then followed thast up with a tire spinning .41. Lost in round two to the eventual winner of the race who had a very strong car all weekend. If we come out next year or not who knows. But now we have are much better prepared to run even harder.

Yeah it was spinning quite a bit off the hit on Sunday. We found our issue Saturday night again and first round was all new territory for the weekend. Spun hard first round. Added a tad more more to it for second round and spun hard again but picked up. We were really lean on second round as well in high gear as we were working on fuel curve after being lost for a couple of races. Oh well we made it and ran well. got ouot of first round and lost to the eventual winner so all is good. We ran ok for the heaviest car in the class..

Found another..Keep in mind these are all shots from before we found ur problem. Looks cool but on Sunday it was leaving better, lower and running much better. Both night passes were HUGE wheelies. In fact Saturday night we had all four wheels off the ground

Well now that we found the one part that was causing all the problems I think we will be much better now. We had been chasing stuff all year trying to figure out what was going on as it was an intermittent issue. We got all that ironed out Saturday night and I think Sunday showed we can now start making the car go faster. We spent most of the summer changing stuff trying to figure out what was up, only to have to start all over once we changed out the coil. Seems it was not happy above about 8000 rpm.

Rod is a great guy. We always pit together and try to help each other as much as possible, especially at PSCA races. That little car runs well. Wish I was 2600lbs though.

Demayo has a "Victor Glidden" headed SB Ferd. The reason for the quotes is some folks think it has had valve angles and rocker location moved a bit. I do know you will not see it with the valve covers off if that happens it is in the trailer. He also won the 10.5 NA Championship deal in Houston last week. I think it is 420" and he is also under 2700lbs.

As for being competitive, we can MPH with them. Last pass was lean trying to get fuel cureve right. Made a big change and it was too much. We spun hard on the last pass and could have been in the mid 30's. We pick up more up top than he did and usually do. We are working on the short times and that is now our new challenge from here forward, getting down the 330' times(we are the slowest in the class) and adding power back at it. Less weight would help too

Congrats on a good, safe outing. I watched one of your passes on the internet where it looked like a handfull and as the announcer said, something about an "old-school" superstock race. Hope u get a handle on the tune-up. Cool stuff Al............

I sure had a Great time!! Visiting with Al and some other Mopar heads was good . My new SB combo ran pretty good @ 9.21 @ 142. Got lucky and made it to
the qtrs. i just need to get that goofy driver to hone in and cut better lights than .030s .Then i might have a chance . After the races I made the Guns n Roses show at the Hard Rock. It was amazing!! They played till 2:30 am and really kicked azz. Looks like I'll hang out for the bracket nationals. If anyone else is going to be there come by and say hay.

Dave, yep you ended up loosing to my buddy John. Your car is running great for sure. We were watching up top. If it helps he ended up winning. He and Keith are tough for sure, plus the home track advantage. Everyone seems to be urging me to run this week too
