Up to 70, the only hardtops or coupes with torque boxes normally were the Hemi cars.
Don't forget the high performance A-body cars, they had them too, mostly 4 speeds and convertibles, but again, there were lots of exceptions.
not meaning to hijack, but on the topic of torque boxes, 340 A bodies with manual transmissions got them. Automatics did not ( except converts ). 273 4 barrel 4 speeds in 67 did not have them. Did the 383 GTS in 67 have them?
