LOL ...now THERE'S a car that needs a blower! Too bad it's not a 2 door!
"77 440 make good blower motor" 4 doors are better it gives that "stealth" look. lol

all of you can laugh at my big rimmed, 4 valve aluminum supercharged Hemi all you want, but if you can't see it coming, you dont know its there, and it will get you. Thats what I'm going for. Alot of my ideas would have to be one off, custom made things, like the rims. I think having a one of a kind car would stick out great when parked next to 20,000 roots blown 13 second trailer queens. Secondly, yes, I like rice burners, as you would call, them. I also like Mopars. One of my favorite cars is a Subaru Impreza WRX STi. Its cheap, fast, reliable, and pretty good looking if you ask me. My idea for my Cuda is to meld muscle car, and import to form an unbeatable package. I hate straigh line cars. I know drag racing takes skill, but I find it boring. Gimme some turns and hard braking, and I'll get excited. Thats the reason for the stiff chassis, springs, light weight, lowering, big brakes and rims, and wide tires. I've seen 4 valve Hemi heads before at a car show. They are expensive, very expensive, but they flow obnoxious amounts of air. Their display engine made over 1,000 Hp without forced induction. As to the comment about blow off valves... Yes, most are loud, but they dont have to be. I would get a silent (or near silent), one. Finally, IF i could get it to fit, I would make the damn thing all wheel drive too. I'm sure most of you find that a sacrelidge, but the handling would be phenominal. With a 1400~1600 horse forced induction Hemi, in a stiff, 3,000 pound car, delivering the power to all 4 wheels, that Cuda would be faster than just about anything else. Here's a link, This is kinda what I'm goin for:

the new yorker honestly runs great, it fires up right away and idles smooth. i was amazed when he fired it up for me. no shakes or anything. saturday he has a day off so were going to see what kind of trouble we can get into. pictures to follow. just looking for the 12" wide front tires and the 16" rears. forgot where we put them. i have a complete cheater set up here and am thinking of finding somehting like that and we can have the nitrous vs blower race. we will call it Meltdown

**Sigh** Nevermind... I was going to say something, but it simply isn't worth it because: "Fighting with someone on the internet is like [censored]
I simply hope one day, I do finish the car, and I meet YOU, at the track, or the stoplight, or anywhere else, and we'll see how things pan out.

I dont care for roots blowers one bit. I have several reasons for this:
1. Expensive.... For the cost of a blower alone, you could build an entire tubo or centrifugial system
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WTH??? Try, just try to build a turbo system that's cheaper. I dare you. Centrifugal...it's a toss-up. By the time you spend $$$ on intercoolers, it can be comparable.
ok, no prob, i have $2500 into mine, all brand new stuff. i might have another $500 in it when im done but come on, it will cost you that much if not more in a roots setup depending on what you get. lets face it, none of this is cheap, but if your good at scouting out deals (new and used) and doing research, it can be done for a bargin price.
in any case, blowers are cool. especially on that freakin' new yorker. thats a car that would get my attention anyday.
Outcast Dodge guy.

An 8-71 can easily add 200 hp to any engine you've got while maintaining driveability. But it also means a big tacky hole in the hood. Is it time for blowers to come back or not? Let's see your blown cars! And--more importantly--let's hear how fast they are. DF
Most definately Very cool.
