The fact is if the owner went thru the trouble of polishing his blower, the chances are much higher that everything else in his engine compartment will look clean and orderly. If you are going for the look, why oh why, would you not want to not make it look as clean and appealing as possible. It would be like comparing a dull bumper to a nice rechromed bumper. I will look at the car with a rechromed bumper and say "nice!" in my head, and then look at the next car with a dull bumper and "wonder???" in my head.

To me a dull-finish blower is not there to impress visually, so it must mean business. Just my $0.02.

Was hard to stop looking at the cars that had blowers at Mopar Nats, my personal favorite being Duster Dave's 73 Duster. Dave's car looked awesome going down Brice Road. Also saw a very, very nice blown, orange 69 RR that was not tubbed, but still grabbed attention. Big yes for a blower on that car!
