There's your problem right there. The header should read DONT BUY CHEAP TIRES.
As for the rest ov the replies... I definitely must be on Moparts. Must be nice to just be able to replace my tires any time someone says they're too old. I dont think in 20 years ov driving i have EVER had a new set ov tires. I'd be willing to bet maybe a handful (probably less) ov sets were less than 5 years old when i bought them.
I'd rather have a 10 year old (element-exposed) set ov top-shelf quality tires on my car than a brand new set ov cheap tires. Also, in my experience... and i have a LOT ov experience with used tires... its always the cheap or no-name brands/models that go bad quick. People say that this cheapo brand is "made by BFG... you just pay extra for the brand..." but its just not the case. You get what you pay for. And when you are forced to drive (and speed...) on old used tires, you do your research and hedge your bets.
