I finally got my 69 Monaco 500 convertible home to start tearing down after 4 years at a body shop that did absolutely nothing to it but leave it outside to rot. I wish it was a big block but from what I was told there were very few made by then, and only 200 Canadian only Monaco 500 convertibles were made in 69. I saw Murray Park's fastop 440 4-speed Monaco, very cool! Any 4-speed C-Body is freakin' awesome! BTW, mine is Q5 turquoise and white.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I wonder who ended up with the one I saw for sale at Carlisle a few years back. The gent that was restoring when he the big "C" got him.His friends all pitched in and finished the car to be sold with the proceeds to go to a charity that he chose before his passing. If I had the cabbage at the time I WOULD own the car.Big block, stick with A/C!!!!
When this was up for sale, I worked very hard to acquire it. It is truly a beautiful car. As hard as I tied, it didn't happen and I was extremely upset to see another Mopar go overseas. Another one lost.
OVERSeeS
This one is in my customers shop for a last go over before it gets sent to ISREAL
Blue with red guts! I almost bought that car a year or so ago, think it came from the southern Indiana/Illinois area?

It's rare as a C body 4sp car. It's probably rare because it's a Monaco. But - there's rare, and desirable. So it's worth what someone will pay. Not having seen the car, or knowing about it, I wouldn't want to pay much for it. Less than $2K anyway. But I've never liked the look of those cars anyway...no offense intended. It's just a cool 4sp to me. Good luck with it!
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

I wondered if that was the same car, but I figured that picture must've been silver -I didn't think I was really seeing that blue-red car again. I remember it from ebay, it was about 45 min south of Indianapolis.
Curiosity - what draws someone to buy such an odd color combo? It's not real pretty (IMO) and doesn't really add anything to it's value, right?

Are you interested in this car or could you give me an idea what it is worth being a pretty rare 4speed car
Tough call on this one. The green paint might hurt it, as everybody spouts that green is bad.
Yes, it'll be worth what somebody will pay for it, so you'll need to get it on ebay for bidding (and NOT a set-price listing) and then cross fingers to get 2 people bidding against each other.
Although the 66 440 isn't as exciting as a 67-68 440hp-spd C-body would be, I think the condition of the car would be the deciding factor. So post more pics if you can, and maybe describe the recent work/$$ that's been put into it.
And ignore the $2000 that was mentioned already, that's not a relevant number. I don't know what the # should be, but I think we all know it's WAY higher.
