Anybody get a set yet? They look like a brushed finish instead of the polished or Chrome look? My challenger is jet black And I want the chrome look so I guess I will have to polish......price is good but you have to buy 4 of the same size, I don't think a 9" wide wheel will work on the front too well? Don't you hate it when you're stuck on an island and nobody comes to the rescue?
The wheels that you refer to are not exclusive to Year One. They have been around for awhile. Stockton Wheel sold them, as did Wheel Vintiques. Why buy from Year one? Discount deal?
Personally, I'd rather get a set that fit right even if I had to pay a little more. 9" wheels are too wide for the front anyway.

Someone has a purple 71 Superbee (clone?) with a set on one of the forums.

Found the pic....he made mention that tire selections may be limited. (as far as having a tall enough side wall)

I'm pretty sure these are a new wheel that Year One had made. They also have a Rallye wheel that is different then the ones that were previously available. Someone said they talked a salesman at the Nat's into selling him two of each width. Maybe you should call them up and see.

tires are too small in that pic...look for 235/55R17 or 255/50R17's....

No. Stocktons are steel. Wheel Vintiques are Billet. These are cast.

Thanks, I did not see them for sale anywhere except yearone? I would only consider a minimum tire size of 275/45-17 and probably quite a bit taller with an 11" tread width...... I like the idea that they are lightweight cast but dont like the brushed look so good..... I am going to narrow a D60 for my Challenger project so wheel width/backspacing are not too crucial for me, I just need to get my wheels and tires and measure it all up. I guess it looks like I will become an expert on aluminum polishing....... TBF

The ones in the picture previously posted aren't the same ones as mine. The valve stem is in a different place and it looks like a brushed aluminum wheel. Mine are polished aluminum. Bought them through Wheel Vintiques about 5 years ago. Still holding together nicely. I have 17x8 all around. 235/55/17 on the front and 255/55/17 on the rear.

That looks nice.My only concern is if they will fit over the large by huge disc brake hub on a 72 NY?
If so my Polara might have found a set of wheels I can live with.

I have the 11" discs up front and the Police HD Drums on the rear. How big are they on a 72 NY'er

Hey everyone! I'm running 8" on front, 9" on rear with BFG Comps. Magnum's were lighter than my stock steel ralley's. Fit very nice on my Challenger. Balanced great, ride very nice. Jeff

1969RR, did you polish those or are they as they came from Y1? Very nice looking!

Hello! And thanks! I'm running BFG's 245/45 and 275/40's. Fit great. I don't think I could go any larger on the rear tho. I've gotten more compliments just on the wheel change than on any other mod I've done! Jeff

I have the same exact setup on my 1970 Barracuda as 1969RR, Yearone Aluminum Magnums with the BF Goodrich Comp TAs. 17x8 in front, 17x9 out back. Just put them on today. I will get better pictures soon. My car was in the garage when Hurricane Sandy hit and put my property underwater for about 6 hours. She was in over 18" of water... so I obviously had a lot to do even though she was thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned as soon as she could. The damage done by Salt Water is nothing short of amazing.
I was amazed at how nice these wheels looked on the car. No clearance issues (I have the original stock discs in front, drums in the back).
