If I see right, it's 1/4" wider? .25" of 11.5" is only 2%, seems like tolerance. No way you can wedge it in?
Agreed,....maybe try pressing in the bushings, they might just seat enough for you to muscle it into place, even stock arms with new bushings can be troublesome to remount....get the BFrubberH out

Is it the overall length of the tubular arms is too wide or the new bushings themselves in the tubular arms are too wide?

being wider wont allow either side to engage, you cant jamb one side in and hammer the other, they both have to start at same time. then push into place and stop so the bolt can be pushed thru.oh this is 1 cool ride,1965 Coronet Deluxe,2 door sedan,MS,MB,bench, radio delete,no carpet, just rubber mats...was granny S6,with the plastic Jesus on the dash.!Body is rust free, white, red interior,Putting in 440,edelbrock alum heads...disc brakes....should b a fun ride! pics soon

Although it's not the "norm", what about considering pressing the bushings out, and installing them so that the larger sholder is inboard?...the bushing would still do the same job, just be orientated in an alternate position...would that reduction of the shoulder on the outboard reduce your overall width enough to mount the arm?...just an idea
Mike
There's your answer, removing the width of those 2 shoulders will allow it to fit. Great idea!

I do not know who made them,my buddy bought a K-frame,lowers,tubular uppers, gear box, steering linkage from some guy in Ohio. Everything was powder coated, even the spindles,i had to get him a different k-frame as it was bent, would not even bolt in.I just swapped the entire works over to a new k-frame,and started the install into the car. We just did my car in 09&2010 so most of it was still fresh in my mind. Will press busings in farther on both side and attempt install on sat.
