I am no fan of 1/8th mile for any class. Years ago there were a few little tracks in Div. 3 that complained every year that they were at a disadvantage at the bracket finals, so the NHRA decided to alternate 1/4 and 1/8 each year. Then they went all 1/8th, and 1/8th for Pro as well. So now you have tracks like EW that are long enough to run nitro cars running 1/2 track races. Most of the bracket racers are in favor of it now. Us old-school Mopar guys still like 1/4.

So... is Tri-State running 1/4 or 1/8 ?

Sorry, I guess that isn't clear. All racing will be 1/4 mile, except Super Pro.
