I notice the picture of Carl's Steel City Wedge. I understand he is no longer with us,does anyone know what happen to the cars? I did some paint work on a Cuda that he bought back in the 70s (That was last century, ouch!)
carl jr has em and still runs them.

Carl passed a couple of years back....he was pretty ill for a long time. One of the classiest guys I ever knew.
The original Steel City Wedge is now back in it's original colors, and is owned by a collector up around Butler somewhere. Young Carl still owns the Cuda...now it is a 383 that runs SS/JA. It is originally a Hemi Cuda...originally owned by Tom Myl who was such a SS power in Division 1. Young Carl is talking about putting a Hemi together for it, to restore it back to new. He's been trying to reobtain the original SCW for some time now.
Here's a shot of young Carl with his dad a couple of years before Carl Sr. passed...with the original.

Thanks Steve, glad to hear the Cuda is still in the family. Now that you mentioned it,I do remember that being a Tom Myl car. There was no motor in it when I had it at my shop.If I recall he wanted to keep part the paint scheme that was on the car at that time. Do you have any pictures of what it looks like now?
