It looks like you might have your bottom arm on linkage in a bind.I found on mine just a couple of splines different one way or the other makes a Big different. If I were you I would make a bracket and raise my throttle cable up more level with the bottom arm on your bracket and adjust from their. I don't have a real good picture of this but maybe this will help and hopefully you will be able to see how my throttle cable is more level where it is more of a straight pull.
PS after looking at the picture I posted and looking at yours,if you could turn you bottom arm on linkage down to the bottom like mind that might make it more lever with it and solve your problem with out having to try and raise your throttle cable.

I made an adjustment on the carb intermediate and took for a test drive,it was better, but,,,,,,,,,,,,the throttle stuck open,I hit the pedal hard twice and it came back half way so I had to turn the key off to kill it I stained my panties!!! Will be looking at the Lokar site

I am having issues with my carb linkage.I can't seem to get full throttle and the stock style cables I have tried don't have enough pull for full throttle, and,,they start unwinding/breaking strands of the cable.I have the enderly linkage kit and it does take quite a bit of effort to open the 2 SV1 carbs from an idle. Pictues and ideas would be great!!
Your pulling almost 180* to the lower arm... that will be about the hardest to pull... move the lower arm upward some (closer to 90*) then you will have to change the ratio going up to the carbs(faster ratio)... move the up rod closer to the pivot

What did you do to the intermediat?I see you have the metering plates off.

Thanks Mr P,I ordered the throttle cable from Lokar. After I install the cable We will re-evaluate and correct. And Mike,Pat had me remove the plug in port #2 and reduce the outer air bleeds. So it went fron too lean to too fat.Now I can start increasing the outer air bleed size untill it's crisp. When my azzdyno says it's good, then it's time to get on a chassis dyno to verify the a/f and find what timing it wants

Do you guys think I can get enough "pull" with the stock throttle pedal or should I get an adjustable aftermarket pedal?????It also seems that because of the effort required to open off idle that it's breaking strands of the OEM style cable. It got all buched up where the cable comes through the firewall

Once you get the angles and ratios correct, the stock pedal will work... you were pulling at such a sever angle before it was WAY over loaded... you were pulling better than twice the effort before until it got to 90*

Mike,I also noticed that the cable coming out of the firewall seems to be at an angle VS coming straight out then bendin upwards. What would keep the cable housing straight before curving??The broken strands at the firewall seems to be what kept it from coming back to idle
You need a new inner cable for sure (or the Locar) but sometimes you have to run a longer housing so its pre-loaded to keep a nice radius... once you break 1 strand in the inner cable it has/should be replaced

Understood With the lokar cable, when it lays in the firewall, what will keep it fron angleing at the firewall to keep the cable stright so it is not at an extreame angle and wear the cable prematurely? Is ther a grommet or bushing that would go between the housing & firewall?

You'll see that if the housing is longer than what you have now it will have a better radius.. plus if you go with the Locar it has a nut type fitting at the firewall to keep it straight

Dont think the Lokar will solve any of your problems. Had similiar issues with my crossram car. The lokar throttle cables work great on a stock type setup with maybe 1 carb. On something that requires a lot of foot pressure i was less then impressed. When you have to step hard on one the stainless wrap actually compresses/expands and makes for a sloppier peddle. I ended up having a commercial cable company make a throttle cable for me. Look into what Mr. P. said above. it looks like you can change some geometry and make it work alot better. then if you still need some more travel, you can heat up and bend the pedal arm and get a little more throw out of it.
In God we trust, all others pay cash.

Go to your local boat parts supplier and get a Morse boat cable, they have them in just about any length you want.Plus they have a nut on the end to position it(like the Lokar) through the fire-wall.The plus to them is they have very strong cable, the negative is they need to be close to the correct length or a little longer if they need to make a bend, stay away from sharp bends and you can't beat them.
