my cracks are in 245-1 360 cnc heads mate

I saw yours. I also saw a few others complain of the same thing after I saw your issue.

I also saw a guy on another site trying to sell his even mentioning that he could never get them to seal right and was tired of dealing with them.

The problems are in the cnc ported heads, not hand ported heads by us.

OK? Good to know!!

If you're going to limit yourself to low cost (small) production heads, I'm not sure if I'd waste the money building a 435" motor under them...

I'm not really limiting myself BUT I'm not spending all out either.

Like Brian Mentioned Best Bang for the BUCK.

I Have a pair of W9's in the garage that would more than do the job. But the cost to make them work is more than I can get a set of heads that are easier to deal with.

I asked about Iron heads in-case there were some out there I didn't know about and usually Iron heads are a bit less than Aluminum heads.

ON another NOTE:

I was wondering what would be a GOOD Production Head for a 370cui for a Dirt Track motor. (Hobby Stock class)

IMCA rules allow up to 370cui in a Mopar BUT the Stroke has to be same as the block came with and the Bore can be up to .060 over. Just so happens a 360 stroke and a 340 bore 4.040 (360@0.040over) comes up to 369cui.
The head restriction is; must be Iron and no W-series heads. EQ's CH318 is acceptable. No Port work of any kind allowed. I was wondering if something like J or X heads would work or if there was anything better. Maybe Magnum heads? If they aren't cracked!!!

EQ318 heads will flow as well or better than J's and X's with comparable sized valves, but with a smaller port and better chamber.

1986 Silver/Twilight Blue Chrysler 5th Ave HotRod **SOLD!***

2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude (holy crap, my daughter is driving)

EQ's are available from Hughes sold as the "Iron Ram" Head. I have a set that with VERY MINIMAL rubbing flowed slighty better down below .500" and within 5 cfm of our RHS heads above that, despite the published Hughes numbers.

Although for an allout max HP, don't think you can beat the W2's if you must have an iron head.
