Normally aspirated I'd go 4.185" (common .060 over 400 chevy or 455 olds size) and a 4.125 stroke. save some bore thickness for next time...or next couple times. The biggest bore possible theory is less critical now than it was before the big flowing heads we have today were readily available.

The 'magic cube' numbers (like 426 and 440, etc) are novel and I suppose 'stylish' for conversation purposes but if there's no other reason.....
