I gotta ask, does that valve train oil alright on the street or is it race only? Dave
I have a question on "oiling the valvetrain". I attended the Bristol race this weekend and asked several Top Fuel teams about valvetrain oiling. They ALL use factory oiling through the block/head/rocker shaft. I watched them assemble the engine, no external oil lines etc. Why don't they oil through pushrods, external lines etc?

VEry nice. Brings back memories. We had the whole pass? side assembled, went to the drivers, and found thet dredded core shift problem, with the pushrod areas. Looks killer. Get some clear valvecovers from Wescott's. Show off that valvtrain !!What valvecovers and heads are those?

Why a 6.8 rod?? puts the pin lower in the piston, 7.1 rod would be a much better choice.
