Bought manifold from koffels thru Chuck/Pete @ Best machine(Best was not original builder)...This is the very first one made for RB/Talldeck BBM'S and shown at last years MMW show at Indy...Manifold was rough around the edges at best and needed lot's of love...Self's racing did the split and work on manifold(they designed the smallblock chevy bolt together that brodix sells) ...They are record holder NHRA comp racers and engine builders, mainley known for gm stuff and everthing is fast that comes out of their shop...

Thanks for all the good comments guys...For those wanting names,it ain't gonna happen...I didn't start this post to drag anybody thru the mud, just more about the pitfals of buying a used engine and the good that can be made out of it...In the end i got a nice engine with everthing new on the inside except pushrods for around $.65 cents on the dollar and a Hogans sheet metal intake with dual pro-systems dominators and a speedtech fogger left over from original purchase

What i do find interesting is not one comment about engine making north of 1000HP with original style B1's and a cast single carb intake

Well I expect a very good engine builder to get 1000= hp from a properly built motor with good heads. You have choosen a more than compitent engine builder. People alwasy wonder why I dont use a "Mopar" guy...Good is good period I choose to use a guy I trust that knows how to make power. The fact he does not specialize in Mopars means nothing to me...Just sayin

You are correct Al...They are comp eliminator guys and very innovated...One of these days i'm going to turn them loose on a set of heads as they think they can be improved on quite a bit
