750 hp in USA $$$ I would bet you start at $10,000
and just go up from there.

ABSOLUTELY !!!

I am putting the finishing touches on a 526" stroker and am well over $10,000 after having found some VERY good deals

Worth noting here is that according to Desktop Dyno this combo will only make 515 HP at 5000 RPM. However it will make 568 ft/lb of torque at 2000 and peak torque of 604 at 4000. This is a conservative estimate as apparently DD loses some accuracy when the cubic inches start to climb. This is with a .600 roller cam and 1.5 rockers. So this should give you some idea of what you need to do and invest to hit your HP goal. Also note that after buying the head "kit" from Indy, almost everything was changed - this why you buy Indy heads from someone else!

Block $150.00
Hot tank $50.00
Sonic test $212.00
Line hone block $175.00
Deck block $175.00
Bore and hone block $175.00
Inst cam brgs $50.00

Head Gaskets $150.00
Ign. Syst. (Firecore) $360.00
Headers (Doug's #D452) $639.94
Rocker assys. - Harland Sharp $350.00
Rocker shafts $159.00
Rocker shaft holddowns $45.00

Block pkg.
Indy ez1 head kit $2,300.00
Indy dual plane intake $469.00
Throttle bracket $55.00
Return spring bracket $25.00
Indy plain valve covers $160.00
Timing set $100.00
Water pump housing $75.00
Water pump
Billet water neck $35.00
Motor mounts $150.00
440source fluid damper $134.95

Lightweight Alternator Retrofit Kit $159.95
Billet Aluminum Single Belt Serpentine Pulley Set $129.95

642 HP and 642 TQ all by 5800 rpm

Are these REAL dyno numbers or from some program? Other than the cubic inches my build above is very similar ... same cam, compression, carb, etc. but the numbers differ significantly. I'm taking the Desktop Dyno numbers with a grain of salt, I know the motor will definitely put out more than DD says.

Oh, and to the OP ... Indy EZ1 heads require no external oiling and use standard offset rockers.

REAL! I will NEVER quote dyno numbers I haven't produced on a dyno. I don't even mess with desktop dyno numbers.

Note to OP:

Unless your octane ratings use the (RON + MON)/2 formula, your octane rating is probably the same as 93 octane would be in the States.

Back in the day the pumps here had only RON, Research Octane Number, posted. The other octane rating, MON, was usually 8 to 10 points lower. So when they are averaged the 98 becomes 93 or 94.

Now on an aluminum headed engine with decent combustion chambers and a big cam I'd agree you could probably go another point of compression, say 11.3:1.

The main point of my last post was that you seemed to be after 750hp for bragging rights. I don't think you need them. 650 hp will move your car to around 300kph.
If you want those big numbers I'd suggest turbochargers. Otherwise, as others are telling you, that number might cost you close to $20K.

R.

I'd guess that's the Lunati 60333! That's the cam I have. Are you using 1.5 rockers? Which lifters?
