My old 9.2-1 440 running a 509 cam M1 and a 850, TA 10" converot, 4.56 gears, clamped springs and 10" slicks ran a 1.595 60ft. The truck was around 3600lbs. Best pass was a 12.19.Dave

I have stock leafs and i run clamps on them. dont remember the exact location of them. It holds them together better and keeps the back of the car from lifting way up but didnt seem to improve my 60' much. Sounds like you need to get the cam figured out first thing.
