swapped out carb for a borrowed CarbShop 950 and the problem is GONE!!!!
With the same jetting as before it is now 11.2-5 at max throttle. Fuel pressure is still at 5.5. Noticable increase in power, pulls in high pretty darn good. Odd thing is I lost 1-lb. of boost???? Went from 5.5 to 4.5????? Less cfm.??????
Your to rich still, try going to 12.2 to 13.0 at WOT, jet down a LITTLE(one jet size on all four corners) at a time Look at the spark plugs after each jet change, BTW what plug name and heat range are you using now? Get ready for massive tire spin, if you don't already have it the difference in power between 11.2 to 12.5 AFR is tremendous
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I have been told in the past peak power would be found between 12.8 and 13.2, but last time at track car was fastest at 12.5.
There is NO set number ... jet to the fastest MPH

This has been my experience too.So many varibles such as collectors or header primarys which might pull in some air during exhaust pulses. My stuff usually wants numbers that are leaner.

I was using mobil premium at the time.
Your ideal mixture will probably be closer to 12.2 to one for max power with pump gas. It depends on the manufacturer, but that is a good starting point for low/non ethanol pump premium in my testing.
