so,i took the bird for a long ride today after i replaced the oil breather and the pvc..and put a number of loads on the motor and it's doing alot better,i did find that the bottom of my dipstick is leaking,so thats where the main oil leak was coming from,the lifters can't spin with the lock retainers on them ..can they? It looks like it just needed a longer breakin than what i remember from back in the day..its been a wile since my last build,i thank all of you for your input I've learned alot from this site..
