Even though the extra piece of metal in the previous picture (and the lack of edge) is hardly visible after upper control arms are in place, corrections were made.

Another angle. Notice the missing part of passenger side inner fender where the hood hinge should be bolted.

Torsion bar rear mounts had been removed to save weight, I guess. They were not needed in a straight axle setup, but now they need to be welded back.

Transmission/torsion bar crossmember ready to rock and roll. Notice the crude torched opening for the manual hump.

Next was the trunk floor. It's hard to see from this pic, but there was few dozen extra holes, and a missing spare wheel bracket. No serious rust anywhere. You can also see the modifications made for outer wheel wells for the flares.

Manual hump had been mutilated with a hole on the side for adjusting shifter rods and enlarged top opening for what ever reason.

Next part will be the rear wheel openings and outer wheel well. The flares will be gone forever, nothing to save, mostly thick layers of bondo. Here is a small cut to see what it's made of.

And this is where we are now. I hope I didn't do a major screw-up assuming that 1964 Dodge will have identical wheel openings as a 1963 Plymouth. I know the rear fender is more different the further back you go, but hopefully I can use these. If not, they did a long journey from California to Finland for nothing...
