Very few of those questions can be answered. I'm sure a couple of the f-body cars are in secret hiding, waiting to be snagged. My car and the magazine article cars are the only ones that I really know any info on. Getting old racecars out of hiding is like a secret society/playing cards. Nobody shows their hand. If and when they appear, people will get the stories.

I could have bought that very EXP for 12k rolling, didn't, it is a S/G car here in ohio now..
Poppa J.,
That EXP of Glidden's is sitting in a garage about 1/2 mile from my shop in Groveport Ohio.
Bob Glidden's on record saying that the EXP was the WORST car he ever drove.

I can't see all of the photos posted in this thread, but wasn't there also a deep purple Volare or Aspen former Pro Stocker running around the streets of Detroit back in the late '80's, owned by two brothers? I think they even tried running some of the fast street car shootouts for Hot Rod magazine. It had a bunch of gold anodized parts also.
Black with purple trim?? I'm not sure it was ever a prostocker.

Daisy, my man, thanks for digging up what you did, I never realized that there were that many to begin with. Had me all worked up Myron, Randy did win the Mile-Highs that year, IIRC it was significant because it was the only final round loss all year by Mad Dog with his Fairmont. 1978 ??

I remember years back there was a brown metallic Aspen with a blown hemi & IIRC Lenco running around the streets. Then there was a candy purple Aspen(not black) with a big nitrous Hemi/Lenco/tube chassis that appeared around '92/'93 then disappeared.

My first Mopar race car was an Aspen, always had a soft spot for them....
