A 850 has its place... I'm actually going to run a 850 on my 416ci street/strip rod... for the race car I use a 1050 and if I had a 1150 I would try it ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

My next move with be alcohol anyway ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif) Oh...my Duster had a .509 and ran 10.60's with a pump gas 9.5-1 motor. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif)

You dirty devil you....pretty sneaky..i told the ex something about a double pumper 850 HO and she chased me with a butcher knife...fortunately i was trained in the ways of espionage and hand to hand combat...do you think she confused the HO part or something?.....next move for me is some So Cal Speed stickers and dingle balls on the dash of the Ford E350....surely a babe magnet then....kinda gonna be Match.com on wheels.... ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/boogie.gif)

The last time I used an 850 was in 1993.
There have been so many other carbs and carb combinations to try.
I used to own close to 50 carbs; now down to the dirty dozen.
Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen!
Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!

to the OP... let me guess, you have a Rick Jones Stratus with an Injected aluminum Hemi? not really sure why it would matter if someone is running an 850? never been to a pay window where they ask me what kinda carb I had or had a sliding pay scale that went up $$ the lower your Dial in was
