A 850 has its place... I'm actually going to run a
850 on my 416ci street/strip rod... for the race car
I use a 1050 and if I had a 1150 I would try it

I have a 850 Ray Murray on the Arrow...I like the throttle response and it hasn't kept me from winning any races ....Sure it might go a tenth faster with a dominator..but really...who cares? My next move with be alcohol anyway

Oh...my Duster had a .509 and ran 10.60's with a pump gas 9.5-1 motor.

5.53 @ 125 1/8th on the launch control..more left in her!

Since I turned my pistons backwards and installed my flex-a-lite fiberglass fan I've picked up 2 tenths and 3 more chicks.I'm just waiting on my L-60-15s and longer shackels ,they should really pick things up!!

The last time I used an 850 was in 1993.

There have been so many other carbs and carb combinations to try.

I used to own close to 50 carbs; now down to the dirty dozen.

Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen! Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!

to the OP... let me guess, you have a Rick Jones Stratus with an Injected aluminum Hemi? not really sure why it would matter if someone is running an 850? never been to a pay window where they ask me what kinda carb I had or had a sliding pay scale that went up $$ the lower your Dial in was

850s ? I run Carters and a push button. I could only dream. Probably wouldn't help much as I can only tune with a stone and a axe.
