This one's on Ebay - "stick-on" Dart. What's the difference? Is there a part number on them?

FWIW, the parts book lists the same part# (2965502) for the 71 Challenger trunk lid and the 71 Dart & Demon hood. Here is the Challenger page. I can post the Dart and/or Demon page if anybody wants.

I have an extra NOS one and several of those "other" ones if someone is interested.

I've seen two types of stick-ons. The one in the eBay listing has two ridges bordering the top of the letters. The other type has a single raised ridge in the center of the letter face. I'll try to post a picture in a bit.

Here's a pic of the emblem on my car (bottom) compared to the one that is like the one in the eBay auction (top). The one on the car is slightly longer.

Another shot. BTW, the 71 Challenger grille emblem is identical to the eBay-style emblem but has pins for mounting. So which one is correct for the trunk lid? My car was restored so I can't be sure. The emblem shown in the engineering diagram looks like the one I have on the car. HPMike - Can you let us know what your car has?

"fmmpr" has 3 auctions for a bunch of "stick-on" Dodge emblems listed on Ebay showing part #3811 220 (for mid '70s c-bodies & '80 F-body cop-cars). They appear to be the "hollow-center" design & are listed as 5-1/4" lg. Also the assembly drawing shows a serif on the top of the "G" that the "raised-center" design does NOT have.

.....Well now Bruce, do you have the correct one on your car or a later emblem from a dodge truck ?? I would like to see a close up of the one on the survivor above.

I have a pic, but cant post it because its too big and I dont know how to resize it? But it has the style that is recessed. I thought that was the only one used as I have never seen anything different??

3811220 superceeded the old part number

I'll post picks of a 3811220 and the mystery seller emblems this evening.

Sorry guys. Got super busy last night with other stuff. I still wanted to get this done so I wandered out to my shop last night to get you guys a pic, but the emblems were not where I thought they were

That means they are buried in my parts closet.

So you'll have to wait until tonight - sorry about that.

OK here they are. I know the parts book shows 2965 502 but I think that was quickly changed to 3443 554 and then that got changed to 3811 220.

Here is a 3811 220 (top) that I got from Brad's NOS back in the day and the NOS emblem from the Carlisle guy.

Look identical to me.

Here's the back side. If it's a reproduction it's the best I've ever seen.

Chris , I have to say ..... The one you got from the guy @ Carlisle looks "more correct" to me? The One from Brad's looks like it has an 'edge' on top of the chrome letters? The other looks more separated like the original. My

Here's the decklid emblem on Mike's 2800 mile '71 HEMI Challenger R/T. If those superseded #s are correct "WHY" does Mitchell's emblem appear to be CORRECT and these others look to be in a more MODERN font? I understand a superseded part may not be identical, but would fit & function the same as the earlier part.
