Good pics My M1 is very similar in mods to your victor 340, any chance of a side x side of A victor next to a M1 small port

I used to have an M-1 with the carburetor pad welded up and
milled for the 4150 opening. It had a little porting but, I don't
think I have any pictures of the inside. I like the Victor 340,
ported for almost everything that uses an OEM style head.
At least with big RPM 340s and 525+ HP strokers.

Here's a stock SB M-1.

I ran on to this as I was looking for something else and thought
it was interesting. Ported W-5 head flow with different intake
manifold tested on the flow bench. Take it for whatever it's worth.
Copied and pasted from a 6 year old PM:

4.155" Bore....................W/INDY.....Small Port M-1........Large Port M-1

.100-66.3.........................66.5.............66.0......................66.5
.200-139.2.......................140.0............136.0....................136.1
.300-207.3.......................206.8............193.0....................202.0
.400-258.1.......................258.7............244.0....................248.7
.500-293.6.......................292.8............257.3....................276.7
.550-295.6.......................297.0............263.5....................279.3

Both Mopar manifolds are completely unmodified.
Large Port has the 4150 carburetor flange.

............also what is the hole bored between the runner pairs in front of the plenum?

I put that in there to run the sending unit wire to the thermostat housing.
Just to keep it tucked out of the way. Plus, that was a chunk of aluminum,
the size of a quarter, I didn't have to drag down the track.

Vic... was the Indy ported or just port matched to fit the W5s?

I didn't have an OOTB INDY at the time I did the testing but, suspect it
would have been better than either M-1.
