Is that a 2899002, 2946729 manifold or a 3462017? Accurate used to make a manifold that takes the bend out of the bottom by using a B or C Body manifold. Here are a couple of pics of a real 68 GSS.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Grand Spaulding ordered 48 cars from Chrysler Seth why wouldn't they be? Not to be confused with the 6 factory drag cars that were meant for the Winter Nationals and the Cobra Jets

Chrysler contracted Hurst-Campbell for the conversions. Basicly took the 383 out and put the 440 in. Grand Spaulding took delivery of complete cars. Mr.Norm only monkeied with the emblems. These cars are the rarest of all the "M codes"

I was always told Mr Norms did the eng swaps at his dealer on the 68 Dart 440. I know in 69 Mopar sent them to Hurst and they were built as 383 cars and Hurst put the 440's in and sent them back to Mopar so anyone could order one from any Dodge dealer. I had never heard that Mopar built the 68's as when ever I heard about them it seemed everyone said Mr Norms dealer did them in 68. Thats why I thought they may not be legal but if you are correct then they would be legal. Ron
