the 1987 intake has a small port in it for some BB applications. I picked up a solid .15 by porting mine on a stroker that had ported 906 heads.

I ran a pair of 750's, converted them to 4-corner idle circuits, and Dominator style secondary throttle blade adjusters. Used the Enderly linkage.

Dodgeguy, just have aluminum welded on the tops of the runners and port to Max-Wedge size, guys have been doing that for ages.

Thought I could be cheap and get a B manifold, but you are right, that is a better option.

Awesome! I always wanted the 590 but I need to keep the rpm's in Check. This 256 108 cam should drive a lil better I'd be thrilled With a 10.xx @123 with my car!

Its a simple combo that is very effective, but I still think it requires a little rpm to get it to work good. TR's by nature tend to like a little rpm. The car responded well when I moved the shifts points to 6600.
The 4200 converter hurt my car more than anything as it was always a struggle to get the car to 60ft in the low 1.50's. When I called PTC, he suggested something in the mid to high 5000 range to make the combo work better. So at the 4800 you will be a little better off than I was. Overall, I think you will like the combo and it will do what you want.
